Gregory James Kalagher, 21, of Mashpee died July 8.

He was born in Hyannis, the son of William Peter Kalagher and Judith Kalagher. He was raised in Mashpee.

After graduating from Mashpee High School in 2016, he entered the workforce.

Mr. Kalagher had a love for animals, especially dogs. During his youth, he and his siblings spent their summers at the beach and having cookouts with the neighborhood. In the winters, his family went on skiing trips; Mr. Kalagher learned how to ski at the age of 4.

He enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he leaves two sisters, Kaitlin Kalagher and Kelly Kalagher; a brother, Kevin Kalagher; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 18, from 4 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

A funeral Mass will be said on Friday, July 19, at 10 AM at Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee.

Burial will be private.
