Jane O’Hara, 84, of Mashpee died at home unexpectedly on November 15.

She was the wife of Richard O’Hara, to whom she was married for 54 years.

She was the daughter of John and Isabella Logan.

Ms. O’Hara graduated from schools in New York. She worked in a lab at White Plains Hospital in New York before working as a registered nurse for many years until her retirement.

Following her retirement, she worked as a nurse’s aide.

She had traveled with her husband while he was serving in the Coast Guard, and they had lived in Alaska, Louisiana and, ultimately, on Cape Cod.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two nephews, Bradley Anesi and Bruce Anesi; and a niece, Beverly Rodriguez.

She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Anesi.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, November 21, from 4 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

A funeral home service will be celebrated Friday, November 22, at 11:15 AM, followed by burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
