Kurt T. Jensen of Middle Haddam, Connecticut, died February 2 at his home in Mashpee. He was 72.

He was born in Meriden, Connecticut, the son of George and Miriam Jensen and the brother of Bruce Jensen.

He was the husband of Stephanie Fuss Jensen, to whom he was married for 21 years.

His first wife was Jeanne Glennon Jensen of Canton and together they raised two daughters in Middletown, Connecticut.

Mr. Jensen spent his entire professional life running the family business, Jensen Fabricating Engineers Inc., of Berlin, Connecticut. He retired at the age of 67.

He underwent a heart transplant 24 years ago at Hartford Hospital.

During his sojourns on the Cape, Mr. Jensen and his second wife often spent time on the water in their boat, Salty Paws.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughters, Lenore Jensen Clark and her husband, Steve Clark, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Lisa Jensen Jaffe and her husband, Mike Jaffe, of Newbury, Caitlin Donohue of Somerville, and Diana Donohue of Brooklyn, New York; two grandchildren, Spencer Clark and Melinda Clark of Wolfeboro; and extended family.

A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, February 9, at 1 PM at Mashpee Congregational Church, 259 Shore Drive, with a reception to follow at the Popponesset Inn.
