Marcia L. Kiley of Mashpee, who had moved to Southport in 2016, died January 25. She was 76.
She was the wife of 57 years of Gerard D. Kiley.
She was born and raised in Belmont, the daughter of Theresa and Clinton Sullivan.
At the age of 19, she met Gerry Kiley at a party. They married and remained in Belmont to raise their two children, spending summer vacations at the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire and taking family trips to visit her retired parents in Florida.
Ms. Kiley had a career as a real estate broker in Arlington and Belmont.
She loved to cook and entertain and was always in search of the latest cookbook; holiday meals were an elaborate affair with attention paid to every detail.
Her lifelong passion for photography prompted her involvement with the Plymouth Digital Photographers Club, where she honed her skills and met new friends.
With her husband and also while accompanying her daughter on business trips, Ms. Kiley had traveled around the world, exploring the plains of Africa, seeing the pyramids of Egypt and visiting the streets of Ho Chi Min City as well as other places.
The Kileys sold their home of 40 years in Belmont and moved to the Southport retirement community in 2016.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Robert Gerega, of Sydney, Australia; and her son, Gerry Kiley, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
A memorial service will be at a future date to be determined.
