Mary L. Marsters

Mary L. Marsters, 85, of Mashpee died February 7.

She was the widow of William J. Marsters, to whom she was married for 54 years. Her husband, who had served as chairman of the Mashpee Lake Management Committee, died in 2011.

Ms. Marsters was a member of the Mashpee Women's Club.

She was a former resident of Houghs Neck in Quincy. She enjoyed spending winters in Key Colony Beach, Florida.

She leaves eight children, Debi McManus and her husband, Tim McManus, of Mashpee, Nancy Litif and her husband, Mike Litif, of Quincy, William Marsters Jr. and his wife, Christine Marsters, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Stephen Marsters and his wife, Denise Marsters, of Hull, John Marsters and his wife, Debbie Marsters, of Weymouth, Paul Marsters of Quincy, Marybeth Francis and her husband, Lawrence Francis, of Weymouth, and Eric Marsters of Mashpee; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Nugent and John Nugent.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, February 14, from 4 to 7 PM at John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road in Marstons Mills.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 15, at 11:30 AM at Parish of Christ the King in Mashpee, followed by burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
