Norine Hill

Norine A. Hill of Mashpee, 84, died at home on August 24.

She was the widow of Lawrence M. Hill. They were married for 57 years.

She graduated from Denver North High School in 1953 and attended Colorado University.

Ms. Hill worked in banking and was the ATM manager for Digital Credit Union (DCU) for many years until her retirement.

A former resident of Acton, she moved to the Cape following her retirement.

Ms. Hill was an active volunteer who had donated her time at churches, libraries and schools well into her later years.

She leaves five children, Edwin L. Hill and his wife, Jodie Hill, of Tacoma, Washington; David L. Hill of Falmouth; Cynthia L. Smith and her husband, Paul Smith, of Groton; Karen L. Hill and her husband, Rich Hanks, of Townsend and Gardner; and Nigel Stemp of Bury St. Edmunds, England; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 1, from noon to 3 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue in Mashpee.

A memorial service will begin at 3 o’clock in the funeral home.
