Paul Francis Eldridge of Hyannis, who leaves sisters in Mashpee and Falmouth, died September 9. He was 66.

He was the spouse of Sandra Jean (Marcoux) Eldridge, his wife of 20 years.

Born and raised in Barnstable, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Edith (Lawrence) Eldridge.

Mr. Eldridge was a residential caregiver for adults with disabilities for many years through Community Systems, Inc.

He also was a veteran of the United States Navy who served during the Vietnam War.

He had a love for the mountains, and enjoyed fishing and exploring the Florida Everglades.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Christopher Eldridge of Yarmouth and John Eldridge of Centerville; two sisters, Eileen Long of Mashpee and Dorothy Warner of Falmouth; a brother, Tommy Eldridge of West Barnstable; a grandson, Sebastian Eldridge; his former wife, Christine Eldridge of Hyannis; and other family.

He was predeceased by two siblings, Peter Eldridge and Elinor Macedo.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, beginning at 5 PM with a prayer service at 7 o'clock, at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street in Hyannis. Military honors will immediately follow the prayer service.
