Shea P. Paxton, 33, of Mashpee died unexpectedly on August 5.

He was the son of Stephen D. and Maureen Dillon Paxton of Mashpee.

A graduate of the Mashpee Public Schools, he also attended Universal Technical Institute/Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Paxton had an appreciation of nature, and could often be found walking his two dogs at Lowell Holly Reservation in Mashpee.

His ashes were scattered on September 2 at Cape Cod Bay just outside Sesuit Harbor.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his brothers, Rory S. Paxton and Jesse D. Paxton; grandmother and grandfather; four nieces and two nephews; and other extended family.
