I’m very happy to share the news that David Weeden is willing to serve the Town of Mashpee as a selectman if elected.

His qualities are well suited for town leadership, yet I can’t say he’s much of a politician. I am writing this letter because it’s most likely the larger population of Mashpee hasn’t had the good fortune to become acquainted with him.

He’s an ethical person, hard worker, dedicated and caring. David has served us on the planning board, so we know he’s invested in our best future. He also sits on the Cape Cod Commission, where he has exceptional purview and voice to any dynamic changes that could affect our town. I’m excited to envision him seated on the Mashpee Board of Selectmen.

David is a man we can trust will look after our environmental, social, economic, and cultural well being. He’s a friendly guy that has more resources than he even realizes. Every town has a personality: Mashpee’s would be amiss without David Weeden on board at its helm.

I believe qualified humble people need support when it comes to public elections. Citizens of Mashpee old and new, please join me in voting for David Weeden on October 1.
