I urge the voters of Mashpee to reelect Tom Fudala water district commissioner and David Weeden for the planning board.
Tom Fudala is the most qualified candidate for water commissioner. For over 30 years, with keen dedication and utmost integrity, Tom Fudala has worked tirelessly to protect our drinking water. As the former town planner, Tom wrote the town’s Groundwater Protection District and Stormwater Management zoning by-laws, and helped secure the preservation of thousands of acres of land to protect our water supply, rivers, ponds and bays. As a current water commissioner, Tom is familiar with the water district’s infrastructure and policies, and supported a budget that actually decreased 1 percent.
David Weeden, likewise, is the best candidate for the planning board. As a member of the planning board myself, I can tell you firsthand that David is an active, thoughtful board member. His insight on historic and environmental matters is critical to the board, and his sensible approach often brings the board to the best decision.
Reelect Tom Fudala and David Weeden! Allow them to continue to do their excellent work for the Town of Mashpee.
