Jump Shot

Mashpee Middle-High School junior midfielder Thanos Pavlo gets off the ground to fire a shot toward the Monomoy net during Monday’s game.

After playing to a pair of ties to open the season, the Mashpee Middle-High School boys’ soccer team felt like it had a great opportunity to get into the win column on Monday, September 12. The Falcons outplayed their visitors from Monomoy High for most of the first half, but an inability to put home shots cost them before things got ugly late in the game.

The Falcons fell to the Sharks by a 2-1 score to drop to 0-1-2 overall.
