Mashpee High School's Amiyah Peters

After having to sit and watch for the past few weeks, Amiyah Peters made an immediate impact in her return to the Mashpee High School girls’ basketball team. The freshman scored a game-high 17 points in her first game back to help lead the Mashpee girls to victory over Nantucket and help the Falcons get back on track on their mission to make the state tournament. “She just opens things up for us so much,” coach Chris Tresca said. “With Amiyah out there, it allows us to spread the floor better and gives us that third option that we really need.”
