Mashpee High's Sam Kersey

Scoring goals is a skill, one that not every soccer player possesses. Some, though, are very good at it and the Mashpee High School girls’ soccer team’s Sam Kersey is one of those players who knows how to put the ball in the net. Kersey entered action on Wednesday, September 25, as one of the top scoring forwards in all of Massachusetts. Over her first seven games she had scored 11 goals for the Falcons and also had two assists to her credit. She’s averaged just under two points per outing for the season and has accounted for 45 percent of the team’s goals so far this season.
