The school usually has a dinner for the families of their students on the holiday but due to COVID-19 they opted to just go with supplying all the ingredients for a full meal. All of the food was supplied by the Falmouth Service Center.

State Trooper John Lennon, shot in Hyannis, was given an official escort back to the Cape when he was released from the hosptal. Fellow state troopers lined up in front of the barracks at the Bourne Rotary to show their respect and support.
