Attendants will begin checking for beach stickers at all town beaches beginning June 25.

Stickers will be checked each day from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Like last year, all freshwater beaches (Snake Pond, Wakeby Pond, and Peters Pond at Oakcrest Cove) will be residents only. All three will have lifeguards on duty beginning June 25 through September 6, from 10 AM until 4:30 PM, as staffing availability allows.

The saltwater beaches (Town Neck, East Sandwich Beach, and Sandy Neck) will be accessible to residents and nonresidents. Lifeguards will be present at Sandy Neck through the Town of Barnstable.

For Sandwich residents, beach stickers cost $35 for the first vehicle, $25 for the second, and $35 for the third. All vehicles need to be registered to the same address.

Nonresidents can purchase a sticker that will grant access to all ocean beaches except for Sandy Neck for $105.

Stickers can be purchased at the tax collector’s office at the town hall annex, 145 Main Street. They can also be purchased at www.capecodbeachstickers.com.

Daily and weekly passes for all ocean beaches except for Sandy Neck can be purchased at the gates for $20 and $50, respectively.
