The Sandwich Boardwalk

The tiff between the town and the historic district committee exploded into an argument among the selectmen last night over whether the town needs to reapply for expired boardwalk permits.

For a little while during the two-hour board of selectmen’s meeting, it seemed that the selectmen might change the town’s stance against going back to the Sandwich Historic District Committee (HDC) to reapply for two permits needed to demolish and rebuild the boardwalk.
