A Christmas night disturbance at the Cape Heritage nursing home will result in charges for two Wareham men, police said.

Police were called to the nursing home at 6:27 PM when employees reported that an assault had just taken place.

Police said a male employee had gone outside and found another man urinating on a fence near a dumpster. When the employee confronted the man, he was assaulted, resulting in an injury to his right eye.

The man left in a vehicle with another man.

Police said the two men and the employee are acquainted with each other and have a history.

As a result of the incident, two 20-year-old Wareham men will be summoned to court on a charge of assault and battery.
