A Forestdale woman is facing an assault charge after allegedly threatening her landlord with a steak knife.
Police were called to a Pimlico Pond Road home on Tuesday, June 11, at 10:31 PM when a landlord reported that his tenant started chasing him with a knife after a conversation turned heated. He said he managed to find safety in his car so that he could call the police.
When police arrived they talked to the tenant, Lisa B. Cooper, 53, who denied that she had chased the man with the knife. She said that she had been startled by the landlord knocking on the door.
After further conversation with Ms. Cooper and the landlord, police arrested Ms. Cooper and charged her with assault with a dangerous weapon.
