Two Harwich men are facing charges after police said they saw a drug deal take place on Quaker Meetinghouse Road.

Police said that Detective Sergeant Terence Murphy saw the transaction take place at the intersection of Quaker Meetinghouse Road and Easterly Drive at 4:34 PM.

He called for backup before moving in on the two men.

As a result of the incident, a 21-year-old Harwich man will be summoned to court for distribution of a Class D drug (marijuana) and a 22-year-old Harwich man will be summoned for possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug (oxycodone).
