Nearly a week after crashing his truck on Route 130 in Forestdale, a man remains hospitalized in critical condition, police officials said.

The crash happened Friday, April 16 at Burkes Corner, near Cape Cod Pediatrics. Paramedics were called to the scene at 6:55 PM.

When they arrived, they found that a truck had rolled over multiple times before landing on its side. The driver, a 41-year-old Forestdale man, was ejected from the truck and was found lying in the roadway.

Fire Chief John J. Burke said that no one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

A MedFlight helicopter was called, but was not able to fly due to poor weather conditions. The man was instead taken by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.

Chief Burke said that the man was in critical condition with multiple traumatic injuries.

Route 130 was shut down in both directions with the Sandwich Police Department on scene to assist with directing traffic.
