A Bourne man was injured when his car rolled over near Town Neck Road on Sunday night, July 12.

Police were called to the scene of the crash around 10:30 PM at the intersection of Tupper and Town Neck roads. Upon arrival, police found the car overturned.

The driver was outside of the vehicle when police arrived.

Based on the driver’s behavior, police said that he was believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was identified as a 28-year-old Bourne man.

The man was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said that he will be summoned to court on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
