Sandwich swimmers showed up in droves for this week’s School Committee meeting to advocate for the current company, AquaSafe, which manages the pool and the public aquatic programs at Sandwich Middle High School.

“The SHS pool is where I first learned how to swim about 12 years ago; it’s where I had my first swim practice 6-and-a-half years ago and realized my love for the sport. It’s where I was trained as a lifeguard,” said Emma Jakubicka, member of the AquaSafe Firefish swim team and captain of the Sandwich High swim team.
