After an investigation conducted by the Sandwich Police Department, Christopher Rule, 40, of Taunton was arrested in Sandwich on October 26 on several drug charges.

Police stopped Mr. Rule in Sandwich to execute a search warrant. The warrant allowed them to search Mr. Rule and his vehicle.

During the roadside search, police said, they found steroids and various pressed pills, which look like Adderall or Xanax but are made out of methamphetamine.

Mr. Rule was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B drug, three counts of possession of a Class E drug and two counts of possession of a Class C drug.

While in custody, police said, Mr. Rule clogged his cell toilet with his lunch, urinated on the clogged mess and threw it around the cell. He was additionally charged with vandalizing property.
