Sandwich police said no charges were filed after a road rage incident that started in Cotuit last Friday, December 27.

At 4:13 PM a man walked into the police station to report that the driver of a Nissan was tailgating him on Route 28 in Cotuit.

After the Nissan driver had been following closely for a while, the reporting driver threw his iced coffee out of his window and toward the Nissan. This had the effect of making the Nissan driver continue to drive in an aggressive manner.

That is when the man pulled into the Sandwich Police Station parking lot and entered the station to report the incident. He told police that he was not able to get the license plate number and the other driver has not been identified.

No charges have been filed at this time.
