A Mashpee man was arrested following a traffic stop on Water Street on Sunday, October 25, and is facing multiple charges, including possession of a stun gun.
An officer conducting routine traffic enforcement on Water Street at 4:22 PM ran the license plate of a white Chevrolet Silverado owned by Jason M. Vacher, 50, of Mashpee. The check revealed that Mr. Vacher did not have a valid driver’s license, so the officer stopped the vehicle and identified Mr. Vacher as the driver.
Police determined Mr. Vacher was on probation and asked him if he was in possession of any weapons, to which he replied that he was not.
Upon searching him and the vehicle, police found a pocketknife, a purple electric stun gun and Suboxone pills, police said.
Mr. Vacher was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of an electric stun gun and possession of a Class B drug.
