Police arrested two people on multiple drug charges following a 911 call about a reckless driver on Sunday, June 28.
Police received a 911 call at 3:27 PM from someone reporting that a Jeep was being driven erratically along Route 6A, nearly striking a pedestrian and driving over a curb before pulling into the parking lot of Stop & Shop.
The vehicle was found in the parking lot, and an officer spoke to both people inside. They were identified as John F. Hayes, 34, of Sandwich and Angela L. Androski, 34, of Brewster.
Police said that Mr. Hayes was found to have two warrants out of Falmouth District Court for larceny charges. While taking Mr. Hayes into custody, police reported finding crack cocaine, Xanax and other pills in the vehicle.
As a result Mr. Hayes was charged with possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class E drug and the two warrant charges. Ms. Androski was charged with two counts of possession of a Class E drug.
