Multiple agencies were called in to find a 21-year-old Riverview School student who went missing on Sunday, October 11.

The man was reported missing at 12:35 AM and had not been seen since 10:45 the previous night, police said.

The Sandwich Police, Massachusetts State Police, and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department were all involved in the search, with each agency using a K-9 unit. Through the K-9 search and cellphone pinging, the man was found near the Sandwich Public Library with two gallons of water, a week’s worth of food, and $800 cash.

Police said that the man was complaining of an ankle injury he had sustained while on the run. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the injury.
