Police arrested a Roslindale man on drug charges following a traffic stop on Route 130 on April 28.

While on patrol in Forestdale at 6:31 PM, police pulled over a vehicle they said was speeding along the road, near Greenville Drive.

Police identified the driver as Wilson F. Medina, 32, of Hyde Park Avenue in Roslindale.

According to the police report, the officer became suspicious while speaking with Mr. Medina that there may be drugs in the vehicle. A drug-sniffing police canine was called to the scene.

During a search of the vehicle and Mr. Medina, a total of 27 grams of fentanyl was found, police said, along with about 10 grams of cocaine.

Police arrested Mr. Medina on the following charges: possession of fentanyl with the intent to traffic, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, and speeding.
