When police responded to a shoplifting call at CVS, they found an intoxicated woman in possession of drugs and more than $400 worth of merchandise.

An employee contacted police at 8:50 PM on Saturday, July 10 to report a woman, later identified as Nicole M. White, 37, of Falmouth, was stealing items from the CVS on Quaker Meetinghouse Road.

Police said she was having trouble answering questions and appeared to be slurring her words.

She was wearing pieces of jewelry and had several items without price tags stuffed in her purse, along with Gabapentin, a seizure medication.

Ms. White was arrested on shoplifting and drug possession charges and transported to Cape Cod Hospital for safety concerns.
