Eunice (Campbell) Donnelly of Sandwich died Friday of last week, October 9. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward F. Donnelly.

Born in Everett, Ms. Donnelly was the daughter of the late Roland and Marion (Marden) Campbell. Her childhood was spent sailing in Winthrop and Marblehead Harbor.

She passed her love of the ocean and passion for sailing along to her three children.

Ms. Donnelly worked various jobs over the years, and in the late 1980s she owned a flower shop in Duxbury called Petals. In 1996, after attending night school for many years, she graduated from Harvard University.

She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and was a talented artist.

As a history buff, she was always excited to share her knowledge of the Civil War and her family ancestry to anyone interested.

Besides her husband, Ms. Donnelly is survived by two children, William F. Donnelly and his wife, Kim Donnelly, of Marstons Mills, and Susan M. Donnelly and her husband, Thomas J. Gallagher of Sandwich, along with four grandsons and one granddaughter.

She was predeceased by one son, Stephen E. Donnelly.

Services were held on Wednesday, October 14, at Corpus Christi Parish in Sandwich. Burial was private.
