Frances Mary (McGrath) Dockham of Sandwich, a career caregiver, died at Falmouth Hospital on February 7 following a short illness. She was 79.
Ms. Dockham was born to John and Constance (DelMonte) McGrath in Chelsea.
She worked her entire career as a caregiver, much of it at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich. She retired as the director of activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Dockham; sons Joseph M. Dockham and Frederick H. Dockham III; daughter Katherine M. Clapp; sister Antoinette F. McGrath Ricci; and brother John J. McGrath.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday, March 25, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations in Mashpee from 1 to 3 PM.
A service at the funeral home will be held at 3 PM the same day, with a luncheon to follow.
