Frederick Thomas Cratty, 74, of Forestdale died Friday, January 29.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Paul and Shirley Cratty and brother to the late Paul Cratty Jr.

He is predeceased by his wife, Joan Cratty.

Mr. Cratty worked as a Massachusetts State Trooper. After retiring, he worked part-time for the Army Corps of Engineers, Sandwich High School and a few car dealerships.

He leaves his daughter Suzanne Waite; two sons, Paul Cratty and Jeff Cratty; and two sisters, Jean Walsh and Joyce Brine, as well as three grandchildren Derek Cratty, Isabelle Cratty, and Chloe Cratty.

He loved spending time with friends, and his family, as well as driving his Corvette and watching the Investigation Discovery Channel. He was an avid sports fan, with the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots being his favorites.

A service will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meeting House Road, East Sandwich, on Monday, February 22, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
