Word has been received that Joseph Ray Crimmins Jr., 62, of Centerville died June 7. He leaves family in Sandwich.

He was the son of Mary and Ray Crimmins.

He was a graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Mr. Crimmins was a partner in ZooQuarium of Cape Cod that operated between 1969 and 2013 in West Yarmouth. He also worked as a part-time builder.

He was a fan of Boston sports teams and enjoyed listening to the music of The Beatles.

He leaves four siblings, Kathleen Cronin of Sandwich, Carol Markham, also of Sandwich, Karen Crimmins of Winchester and Robert Crimmins of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Susan Crimmins.

Visitation will be Monday, July 29, from 10 AM to noon with a memorial service beginning at 11:15, at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street in Hyannis.

Burial will follow at Ancient Cemetery, Ancient Way Road in Yarmouthport.
