Leo J. Conlon, 91, of Sandwich died at home on June 2.

He was the husband of Margaret M. (Conlon) Conlon, who died in January 2015.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he was the son of Francis J. Conlon and Alice (McLoughlin) Conlon.

A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Conlon served in the US Army from 1948 to 1951.

He graduated from Boston University in 1960.

Mr. Conlon spent most of his career in the aerospace industry, and worked on NASA’s Apollo and Viking Mars Lander programs.

He leaves three daughters, Kathleen Geanacou of Norfolk, Patricia Durant of Sandwich and Mary McNeil of Medway; two sons, Paul Conlon of Randolph and James Conlon of Walpole; 10 grandchildren; and extended family.

He was the brother of the late Francis Conlon.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 15, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Boulevard in Bourne.

Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
