Marion Kathryn (O’Brien) Stickney, 98, of Humarock died November 2. She leaves family in Sandwich.

She was the widow of Leo H. Stickney.

Ms. Stickney was born on Prince Edward Island in Canada, the eldest of seven children. She grew up in Charlestown. She later lived in Malden and raised her family in Medford. After many years of spending the summer in Humarock, she became a full-time resident there in 1981.

She lived independently in her own home until shortly before her death.

She leaves three children, Kathy Fisher of Sandwich, Leo Stickney of Marshfield and Maureen Doherty of Plymouth; five grandchildren, Zachary Fisher, Oliver Fisher, Alyson Pina, Amanda Stickney and Kara Doherty; a great-grandchild, Carson McSorley; her sister Regina McGrath of Worcester; and extended family.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, at St. Christine’s Church in Marshfield.
