Meredith Faith Brouillette, 70, of Forestdale died unexpectedly on January 24.

Born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Roger and Theresa (Ethier) Paré.

She moved to Sandwich in the early 1980s with her husband and children.

Ms. Brouillette, a registered dietitian, received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Rhode Island and worked as a nutritionist.

During the 1990s, files from the Enterprise showed she had counseled the elderly on nutrition and diet at senior centers and nursing facilities on the Upper Cape. She also gave a talk about heart-smart foods as part of a healthy breakfast forum recognizing February as National Heart Month.

She leaves a daughter, Amelie Laurino; a son, Colby Brouillette; two grandsons, Jesse Laurino and Dillon Laurino, and a great-granddaughter, all of Forestdale. She also leaves a brother, Roger Paré, of Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Colin Thomas Brouillette; her parents; and three siblings.

Services were to be private.
