As a Town Neck resident, I’m concerned for Tree House’s plans to expand parking. Where?

Safety concerns, traffic on Town Neck Road? Seventeen parking spaces allotted with the establishment for 500 patrons? Tree House has not been forthright with their plans. Could there be cars parking on side streets in front of residents’ homes and destroying the charm of the oldest town on the Cape ?

Years of residency in this quaint town are being challenged. With one way in and one way out Town Neck Road can’t handle the amount of traffic. Parking lots and porta-potties will destroy the quaintness of our sleepy town.

We are all for a successful business in the Tree House location but too many concerns come with this establishment. Not enough knowledge on what the plans are for safety issues and traffic? This is a nightmare waiting to happen.

How many properties on Dillingham Ave are owned by permanent residents? A quick search through the Sandwich Tax Assessor database shows a lot of "trusts" and "realtys". Am I wrong to assume that a lot of those houses are being rented out?
