When Heritage Museums & Gardens’ Anne Scott-Putney took on the role of new president and CEO in 2019, she said: “We are aware that there is still bitterness about how the Adventure Park was originally permitted. That’s why we want to do things better and do them right.”

Shortly thereafter, Heritage reapplied to the zoning board of appeals for a new special permit for the exact same ropes course.
