The Nantucket High School volleyball team has been one of the best teams in the Cape and Islands League all season long, and it once again showed it against Sandwich on Wednesday, October 26. The Whalers came over from the island to score a 3-1 win over the Lady Knights.

The loss was the second to Nantucket in a week. SHS, which had already qualified for the MIAA state tournament, fell to 10-8 overall. The Knights have been in a slump the last two weeks, dropping five of their last six matches. The team closed out the regular season against St. John Paul II. The match ended after press time for the Enterprise.
